I didn’t do a Sunday Devotional last week because I was going through a tough time, but now I am doing one that reflects not only where I am standing today but I think a lot of you would want to see this.
The verse that I picked which is speaking to me right now is the following:
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
With everything that is going on in my life and also what is about to happen I feel like everything is going really fast paced. I found myself at times very nervous yet excited at the same time because I have no idea how in the world my life will shift. From studying, work, to everyday life issues, and other things that impact me it is very hard to try not to cry. Despite of all of that, that bible verse brings me peace, happiness, and joy because I know that my life will have an amazing turn for the better.
I can rest knowing that everything will be okay, and the only thing I have to do is be strong and courageous. At the end of the day God is always with me so I have to able to not be scared at anything at all. Now I have a question for you: Are you scared of anything? Or are you nervous about something? Especially are you happy but feeling insecure of a situation that might change your life? If so then do not worry because guess what? Everything is going to be okay!
The worst thing that can happen is for you to not be able to see the light of the sun again the next day. If you are healthy, alive, breathing good, and have no medical condition that will determine if you will live or not then trust me everything is going to be okay. Look outside for a moment and see the beauty of nature, and try to relax. It does not matter what you are going through because later on whatever the situation is you will be able to fix it.
For me God is so amazing! The Lord surprises me with every single little thing I do. Even though I might worried from time to time I find myself laughing because life can be unpredictable just like the weather in Chicago lol! If we worry too much about certain things then we will get sick so it is better to just laugh it off, and keep moving know that God is with us every single second of the day. Which is why for this topic I decided to pick a song which is called “So Good” that is linked down below.
With all this being said, God bless you all and love you guys!
