Work Of God

I want to share something that has been in my heart for a very good few hours. Today on our way back home, with my other half, we saw this man on the train that was on his last stage of diabetes. As I saw him, I couldn’t help but see all the people on the train that were not caring of the condition of this man (that really made me mad). I started to think, “Should I help him out by giving him money?” and as human one would think “He is faking it? Or is it for real?”. The first thing I asked God on that moment was, “Lord is this man really suffering? I don’t know him but I need you to talk to me now.” At that very moment I felt something that rushed through my body, and as I closed my eyes I could hear the Lord telling me,

“You will not find me in a place full of riches, you will not find me in a beautiful place, you will not find me in a church full of people, but you will find me in humans that need my mercy, love, and grace. Can you see me? Can you hear me?  Look at that man very good and see that he is not faking but suffering in silence. A homeless man with nowhere to go that man is me. A homeless man that suffers the last stage of a disease to see how humans will react. A homeless man that needs to hear words that will say “May the Lord bless you!” Michele look very good and see beyond the physical aspect…that man needs to see me work through you.”

At that very second the verse from Matthew 25:35-45 ran in my mind like lighting. The moment I heard the Lord speak to me I looked up with tears in my eyes, and saw my boyfriend crying. The first thing my other half told me was, “Michele….he needs help.”, and we didn’t have a lot but what we had we gave it to him. When I got up to give the man the last thing I had in my pocket I said, “May God bless you, may he heal you, and I hope for a speedy recovery.” He was speechless, teary eyed, with a warm smile, and said “Thank you so much young lady.” The moment I went back to my seat and I turned around he automatically disappeared. As I write this, I can’t help but cry and I have chills in my body. I had so much peace running through me, and I felt that I accomplished something on this day.

I’m not sharing this with you to think, “Oh…she just wants to show off because she helped someone.” NO! that is NOT THE CASE! I am sharing this with you so that you can see beyond the physical aspect of a person that you might randomly see in this world. If you love Jesus, if you want to experience him in your life, and you want to hear him talk to you then trust me when I say you will find him in unexpected places. Sometimes when we think, “Oh God is just so far away.” That moment is when he is very much closer than what you think. There is a song from Tori Kelly that showed up on my phone at that very moment which is called, “Help Us to Love” which I recommend for you all to hear it, and I will link it down so you guys can check it out.

Tori Kelly: Help Us to Love

Matthew-25.35.jpg

The moment that you experience his presence, you will see how much the Lord cares and loves you. Today was an awesome day in which I went on a journey, I will write about that later on, but what totally made my day was seeing the work of God through my boyfriend and I. There are circumstances that I will never be able to understand, but I know that God has a purpose through it all. I pray for that man to be healed, to find peace, comfort, food, and most important of all to see that God loves him just the way he is. I challenge you today to help someone that you might randomly see on the streets, and really try to hear the Lord speak to you because the more you help the bigger the plan that God has for your life will be.

This is my testimony. This was all God. This is his work through me. If you ever had experienced the Lord, I would really like to hear it! Love ya’ll so much! Stay tuned because I have another post coming up by this week about the adventure I had! God bless and depending on where you are I hope you have a wonderful day or night.

xoxo- Michele C
